It is official, We are on the ballot. We are one step closer to electing Sheri Van Horsen to protect our school district funding, concentrate on public safety and jobs creation and put Arizona back on the right track!

Update: Thank you Arizona for passing Prop 100, now we can work to Elect Sheri Van Horsen to continue the public support for district education.

Sheri Supported Proposition 100 - 100%

To support our District schools and public safety, we must pass Proposition 100. Sheri won't tell you she supports your kids and then oppose the proposition that bridges the funding gap to our Districts. Sheri voted for Prop 100.

Our current legislators are not keeping promises and getting results. They are not fiscally conservative. They are sinking Arizona taxpayers deeper and deeper in debt, and then want us to re-elect them??? It is time for a new Senator in District 9, Sheri Van Horsen.

Our current representatives are neither conservative or protecting the taxpayers. Under their watch Arizona has been plunged into the deepest debt in our history, homeowners lost 50% or more of their homes value and they are selling off our taxpayer owned assets at the worst time to sell and then leasing them back for 4 times what they sold them for, incurring 20 years of debt to "we" the taxpayers. This is not fiscally responsible nor is it protecting taxpayers.

We need a new Senator in District 9, Sheri Van Horsen.

Sheri supports district education in PUSD, while our current elected Representatives consistantly voted to undercut our children's future, voted to triple tax credits to private and religious schools and deeply cut our PUSD school districts. This is fundamentally wrong and Sheri will support our kids in PUSD. Sheri is a mom who understands how important a strong and healthly district education is to our future.

Sheri's view and plan is:

·         Arizona is on the wrong track, and our current Representatives continue to push our state down the wrong track.

·         Too many Arizonans are losing their jobs, and Arizona’s district schools are under-funded, but our current Representatives continue to eagerly cut education and jobs.

·         Big corporations and the rich aren’t paying their fair share in taxes. Our current Representatives continue to give away tax breaks to corporations and the rich, while middle-class families pay for it.

·         The cost of health care is too high. Our current Representatives massively cut health care during tough economic times and now many Arizona families and children can’t afford to go to the doctor.

·         Bottom line, our current Representatives have been in office for far too long, resulting in failed leadership and the wrong priorities. It’s time for a change.

·         I will take a balanced approach to solving Arizona’s budget crisis and protecting middle-class families and kids. Support public education in our District and fight for our kids.

·         To get Arizona on the right track, I will support making cuts to wasteful, non-essential services, closing tax loopholes, using federal stimulus dollars and implementing tough immigration reform.

·         While the rich enjoy tax breaks on country club memberships and spa treatments, middle-class families have to pay taxes on school supplies and clothes. It’s time to close unfair tax loopholes that do not benefit Arizona or create jobs.

·         We need to make sure that all Arizonans have access to quality and affordable health care. It’s wrong to take away health care from children and seniors while giving tax breaks to big corporations and the rich.

·         We need tough immigration reform that cracks down on human smugglers and other violent criminals, and we need to give police the tools they need to secure our borders.

That is why I have decided to run for the State Senate in Legislative District 9. We need answers now. We need individuals committed to solving the problems we face and developing a clear plan for our future. We need a true supporter of District education so we can keep sports, music, the arts, advanced classes and proper teacher/student ratios.

  With your help, we can resolve this crisis and put Arizona back on the path to educational opportunity and secure stable jobs for our future. Our current representative now running for the Senate in LD9 has done nothing to create jobs, support district education and help middle class families struggling to survive.

Arizonans overwhelmingly approved the clean elections system and this legislature is trying to subvert the will of the voters and take your voice and your vote away.

Please support Sheri Van Horsen to bring our voices back into the state legislature, and have a strong voice for district education. Together we will make a better Arizona.
